Sara Foster revealed she once went on a \u201cdepressing\u201d date with George Clooney after being set up by her famous pal Cindy Crawford and Cindy\u2019s husband, Rande Gerber.<\/p>\n
\u201cI got set up with George Clooney, like, 30 years ago. It was such a blah. Sorry, had to say it,\u201d Foster told her sister Erin Foster on Thursday\u2019s episode of their \u201cThe World\u2019s First Podcast.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIt was just such a hard no,\u201d Sara, 44, continued. \u201cI remember thinking, \u2018Oh, he is so old.’\u201d<\/p>\n Sara Foster revealed she once went on a \u201cdepressing\u201d date with George Clooney after being set up by her friend Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber. Getty Images for TechCrunch<\/p>\n \u201cIt was just such a hard no,\u201d Sara, 44, recalled of the event. \u201cI remember thinking, \u2018Oh, he is so old.\u2019 Getty Images for BFI<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sure George Clooney is a nice guy, but I just remember it being the four of us sitting there and thinking like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna die, like I\u2019m gonna die,’\u201d Sara said, noting that she was also \u201cso sad\u201d about another recent breakup at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cThen, here\u2019s this one who just feels like a grandpa. It was depressing. I was so depressed,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n The \u201c90210\u201d star added that she ultimately felt \u201coffended\u201d that Crawford and Gerber would attempt to set her up with the Oscar winner, now 64, who was so many years her senior. <\/p>\n \u201cI always say that when I see these young girls dating older guys. Like, yes, of course, sometimes it makes sense, and it\u2019s all the things,\u201d she reflected. <\/p>\n Sara noted that she felt \u201coffended\u201d that Crawford and Gerber tried to set her up with a man so much older than her. I just always thought that was so weird.\u201d<\/p>\n Sara also made sure to clarify that she feels Clooney wasn\u2019t exactly too hot about her after their date either. <\/p>\n \u201cI also think it wasn\u2019t George being like, \u2018Oh, set me up with Sara Foster.\u2019 I think it was more like Rande and Cindy being like, \u2018We know someone great,’\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think he was that into it either. I started crying about my ex to him.
