{"id":41516,"date":"2025-08-02T09:42:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-02T09:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/41516\/"},"modified":"2025-08-02T09:42:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-02T09:42:10","slug":"police-investigating-the-drowning-of-two-children-in-wabigoon-river","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/41516\/","title":{"rendered":"Police investigating the drowning of two children in Wabigoon River"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Updated:\u00a0August 01, 2025 at 4:05PM EDT<\/p>\n<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Published:\u00a0August 01, 2025 at 3:10PM EDT<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a drowning that claimed the lives of two children in <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/2E1PceAoRkq9TTUE8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/2E1PceAoRkq9TTUE8\">Dryden, Ont.<\/a>, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Officers responded to a report at 4:10 p.m. on July 31 after two youths were seen entering the <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/8QE8MYnstkWUrU8B9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/8QE8MYnstkWUrU8B9\">Wabigoon River<\/a> but did not resurface.
