{"id":415223,"date":"2026-01-17T11:40:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-17T11:40:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/415223\/"},"modified":"2026-01-17T11:40:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-17T11:40:10","slug":"former-dawgs-player-named-top-30-atlanta-braves-prospect-for-2026-okotoksonline-com","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/415223\/","title":{"rendered":"Former Dawgs player named top-30 Atlanta Braves prospect for 2026 &#8211; OkotoksOnline.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Okotoks Dawgs alumni <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseballamerica.com\/players\/675583-eric-hartman\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eric Hartman<\/a> has been listed as the 24th best prospect for the Atlanta Braves in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He is also listed as the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseballamerica.com\/stories\/2026-atlanta-braves-top-prospects\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Braves\u2019 prospect with the best defensive outfielding<\/a>, according to Baseball America.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The rankings are courtesy of Baseball America, who summarizes lists of top prospects for each MLB team ahead of every season.<\/p>\n<p>Hartman was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 20th round of the 2024 MLB draft. He signed a deal with the organization for $337,500 shortly after and has since been officially a part of the Braves.<\/p>\n<p>The now 19-year-old prospect was a former Holy Trinity Academy student.
