The Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> aren’t slowing down.<\/p>\n

The Kyle Tucker signing — for four years and $240 million — is the latest example. And it’s the kind of move that can put incumbents, like Teoscar Hernandez, in at least a bit of a tough situation.<\/p>\n

There was even speculation that the Dodgers might trade Hernandez.<\/p>\n

That appears to not be the case, though. Instead, it sounds like he’ll move from right field to left field to accommodate Tucker.<\/p>\n

This is what The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal<\/a> reported in a new article:<\/p>\n

“Fresh off their stunning signing of free-agent right fielder Kyle Tucker, the Los Angeles Dodgers are expected to keep Teoscar Hern\u00e1ndez and move him to left field. As reported previously, Hern\u00e1ndez\u2019s name has surfaced in trade conversations. The Dodgers, however, are more likely to explore deals for outfielder Ryan Ward, a career minor leaguer who last season was MVP of the Pacific Coast League at 28; or right-hander Bobby Miller, who has been a disappointment.”<\/p>\n

Hernandez hit 25 home runs in the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

At age 33, he still has some of the best raw power in baseball.<\/p>\n

Hernandez has now hit 58 homers in his first two seasons in Hollywood. He’ll get the chance to slug some more, now in an even more powerful lineup than before.<\/p>\n
