Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Peter Kraus on Season 13 of \u201cThe Bachelorette.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since his time on the show, Peter found love off-screen with TV host Hana Ostapchuk and the two officially announced their engagement over the summer after one year of dating.<\/p>\n

And a few months ago, the happy couple shared that they are also expecting their first child together \u2014 a baby girl.<\/p>\n

And last month, Peter and Hana officially tied the knot in a stunning outdoor wedding in Jupiter, Florida.<\/p>\n

Now, the Bachelor Nation star is opening up on the \u201cAlmost Famous Podcast<\/a>\u201d and recalling his candid first reaction to finding out he was going to be a dad.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the interview, Peter was asked what his initial emotion was when he found out Hana was pregnant, and he revealed that it differed from hers.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, my God, we had complete opposite reactions,\u201d he said. \u201cI had just laid down for a nap and she\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019m going to take a pregnancy test.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018Please don\u2019t do it now, I\u2019d really like to take a nap. I haven\u2019t slept in a few days.\u2019 And she was like, \u2018No, now is the time.\u2019 And so when she did and the first one was positive, the initial reaction was like, \u2018All right just relax, take another one.\u2019 And then it was take another one, another one, and I just started laughing. I couldn\u2019t help but laugh at the whole situation\u2026 And she immediately started crying.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hana then chimed in and revealed that she almost didn\u2019t believe the results at first.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She admitted, \u201cI was like, \u2018This is backwards, this is not how it\u2019s supposed to be!\u2019 I was having a mental breakdown. Funny enough, my best friend who has kids had gotten me the pregnancy tests sort of as a joke when I moved in with Peter. So I was like, \u2018These are rigged!\u2019 So I made Peter pee on a stick and we learned it was not rigged.\u201d<\/p>\n

Laughing, Peter joked, \u201cHey we had to have a control, and I was the control\u2026 Needless to say, I\u2019m not pregnant.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

We couldn\u2019t be happier for Peter, Hana, and their growing family. We can\u2019t wait to meet their baby girl soon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Instagram Looking back.
