\n\tThere are probably quite a few women you would love to have been set up with George Clooney<\/a>, but the same can\u2019t be said for Nobody Wants This<\/a>\u00a0executive producer Sara Foster.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a recent episode of the podcast, The World\u2019s First Podcast<\/a>, which she co-hosts with her sister and the creator of the hit Netflix series, Erin Foster, Sara revealed that Cindy Crawford<\/a> and her husband, Rande Gerber, once arranged a date with her and the Oscar winner.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDo you guys know that I got set up with George Clooney like 30 years ago and it was such a blah?\u201d Foster confessed. \u201cSorry, had to say it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThis was clearly news to Erin, who asked in a surprised tone, \u201cWait, sorry, you went on a date with him?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cRande and Cindy tried to set me up with him, like, when I was 24 maybe? And the four of us met and it was just such a hard no. You didn\u2019t know that?\u201d Sara clarified before adding, \u201cI remember just thinking, \u2018Oh, he is so old.\u2019 I always say that when I see these young girls dating older guys. Like, yes, of course, sometimes it makes sense, and it\u2019s all the things. [But] I\u2019ve never understood a 19-year-old that\u2019s into a 40-year-old. I just always thought that was so weird.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Nobody Wants This creator admitted she was actually \u201coffended\u201d that her married friends would set her up with Clooney because \u201che felt so old at the time.\u201d Sara, 44, is 20 years younger than the Jay Kelly star, who is 64 years old.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m sure George Clooney is a nice guy, but I just remember it being the four of us sitting there and thinking like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna die, like I\u2019m gonna die,’\u201d she continued, noting that she was still \u201cso sad\u201d over her ex-boyfriend at the time of the date. \u201cThen, here\u2019s this one, who just feels like a grandpa. It was depressing. I was so depressed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite Sara\u2019s blunt words, she explained that she wasn\u2019t intending to insult the Wolfs actor. She also recalled Clooney not seeming too interested in her, either.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI also think it wasn\u2019t George being like, \u2018Oh, set me up with Sara Foster.\u2019 I think it was more like Rande and Cindy being like, \u2018We know someone great,’\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t think he was that into it either. I started crying about my ex to him. So I think he was like, \u2018This chick\u2019s not OK.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tErin teased her sister, saying she\u2019s probably \u201cthe only woman on the planet\u201d who would be bummed out by a date with who she described as \u201cheartthrob of America.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tYears later, Sara tied the knot with former tennis player\u00a0Tommy Haas\u00a0in 2006 and had two daughters. They ended up splitting in 2023.
