Chelsea continue to offload players at a rapid rate during a very busy summer.<\/p>\n

The Blues<\/a> need to trim down their squad size across this transfer window, which is why plenty of individuals have already left Stamford Bridge. In fairness, the sporting directors deserve huge credit for their sharpness and ability to sell players.<\/p>\n

Following the likes of Joao Felix and Noni Madueke, Armando Broja is expected to be the next player to exit Chelsea. Apparently, Burnley will pay around \u00a320m to sign Broja<\/a> after an agreement was reached.<\/p>\n

Enzo Maresca<\/a>, the Blues head coach, wants Chelsea\u2019s squad to be 22 or 23 players<\/a> in the new season.<\/p>\n

The future of Chelsea attacker Christopher Nkunku<\/a>, 27, has been a major talking point so far this summer.<\/p>\n

Even though the Frenchman has been heavily linked with a potential transfer exit, he was still part of the Blues group that won the Club World Cup this summer. In fact, Nkunku hugely impressed Chelsea staff<\/a> throughout the recent tournament.<\/p>\n

Reports in July claimed that Nkunku was deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea<\/a>, but he\u2019s still at the club at the start of August.<\/p>\n

According to L\u2019Equipe<\/a>, Inter Milan have recently been in talks for several days with Nkunku\u2019s representatives to discuss a potential transfer.<\/p>\n

The report adds that Maresca has not made it a \u2018must\u2019 for the Blues to sell the versatile attacker. In fact, he believes that he could play a part in the club\u2019s project moving forward.<\/p>\n

Apparently, Nkunku wants to play at the highest possible level, so his advisors are talking with Inter. If he did end up joining the Serie A giants, he would get to play in the Champions League in the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

On paper, RB Leipzig playmaker Xavi Simons feels like a perfect replacement for Nkunku in Chelsea\u2019s squad, someone who can operate as a left-winger or a No.10.<\/p>\n

If Simons completes a move to Stamford Bridge, we think it should determine Nkunku\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

Chelsea and Leipzig are advancing during Simons negotiations<\/a>, especially after the player missed training on Friday. Therefore, it\u2019s sounding more and more likely that the Dutch creator could be on his way to West London.<\/p>\n
