Nicole Kidman is planning an exciting new year following her divorce from Keith Urban<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe is refreshed and optimistic about the new year,\u201d a source told People of the Oscar winner in comments published Monday<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The source also said the \u201cBig Little Lies\u201d star is \u201clooking ahead to a busy and exciting year professionally too, with\u00a0several projects coming up.\u201d <\/p>\n

Of the former couples\u2019 daughters \u00a0Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, the insider added, \u201cNicole spends a lot of time with her girls. She loves family time.\u201d <\/p>\n

Nicole Kidman is reportedly \u201coptimistic\u201d about an \u201cexciting\u201d year ahead. KHAP \/ BACKGRID<\/p>\n

The actress has \u201cseveral projects coming up,\u201d a source told People. Media-Mode \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re all settling back in to their routine\u201d the insider divulged. \u201cThings have been calm.\u201d<\/p>\n

A rep for Kidman did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n

Kidman\u2019s \u201cPractical Magic\u201d sequel is expected to drop in September, and she\u2019ll appear in the third season \u201cLioness\u201d alongside Zoe Salda\u00f1a this year, as well as \u201cMargo\u2019s Got Money Troubles\u201d with Elle Fanning and \u201cScarpetta\u201d with Jamie Lee Curtis. <\/p>\n

The prolific actress also has a third season of her hit HBO Max series \u201cBig Little Lies\u201d on the horizon.<\/p>\n

Kidman and Urban, both 58, were married for nearly two decades<\/a>\u00a0before their stunning split over the summer. <\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes relationships just run their course,\u201d a source told us at the time. The actress allegedly \u201cdid not want the separation and was trying to save things\u201d prior to their separation. <\/p>\n

They\u00a0finalized their divorce\u00a0<\/a>earlier this month, with both parties waiving spousal and child support in the matter, and the country star earning \u201cevery other weekend\u201d with their daughters. <\/p>\n

Kidman and Urban had been living apart since the start of the summer 2025. Subsequent speculation that Urban was involved with guitarist Maggie Baugh<\/a> were shut down by a friend<\/a> in October. <\/p>\n

Earlier this week, a report claimed the country star had moved in<\/a> with a new love interest. \u201cI hear he [Urban] has someone, which is why the girls are publicly supporting Mom,\u201d the source alleged. <\/p>\n

\u201cPeople think they are even living together,\u201d the source claimed. \u201cLook, teen girls love their dads, so there\u2019s a reason they\u2019re making it three against one.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outlet also reported that Urban was working on a breakup album in Nashville that \u201cmight be an uncomfortable retelling of the unravelling of their love story\u201d \u2014 and that he\u2019s \u201cserious\u201d with a new girlfriend, said to be up-and-coming country singer Karley Scott Collins<\/a>, 26. <\/p>\n

Atop the screenshot, she wrote, \u201cYall, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue,\u201d adding a laugh-crying emoji. <\/p>\n

The \u201cPerfect Couple\u201d star, meanwhile, appears committed to looking ahead<\/a> \u2014 she was seen posing arm in arm with her daughters while taking in New Year\u2019s Eve fireworks in a sweet social media post earlier this month. <\/p>\n
