After making his season debut in early November, Green played just two games before aggravating the injury and has been sidelined for the past two months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Suns coach Jordan Ott confirmed that Green would be coming off the bench against the Sixers, who will be without center <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nba\/player\/joel-embiid\/794508\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nba\/player\/joel-embiid\/794508\" target=\"_blank\">Joel Embiid<\/a> due to rest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Suns acquired Green as part of the trade that sent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nba\/player\/kevin-durant\/329525\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nba\/player\/kevin-durant\/329525\" target=\"_blank\">Kevin Durant<\/a> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nba\/team-page\/houston-rockets\/10\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nba\/team-page\/houston-rockets\/10\" target=\"_blank\">Houston Rockets<\/a> before the season. He had an exciting debut for Phoenix, scoring 29 points in 23 minutes in a win over the LA Clippers on Nov. 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Phoenix has played well in Green\u2019s absence, blowing past all preseason expectations to challenge for a top-six seed in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Rockets drafted Green with the No. 2 pick in 2021.
