Mikey Garcia<\/a> is the latest big name to weigh in on the upcoming Shakur Stevenson<\/a> vs. Teofimo Lopez<\/a> showdown.<\/p>\n

Reigning WBC lightweight champion Stevenson moves up to super-lightweight to challenge Lopez for his WBO belt<\/a> at Madison Square Garden in New York on January 31.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the bout, a number of boxing stars have made their thoughts known<\/a>, and now Garcia has offered his take, as Stevenson bids to match his accolades of being a four-division world champion.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Fight Hub TV<\/a>, Garcia broke down what he thinks is the biggest factor in the Lopez vs. Stevenson fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat match-up, tough fight. I want to see which Teofimo shows up because sometimes it\u2019s Teofimo the great fighter who beat Lomachenko, who beat Taylor. That\u2019s a tough Teofimo.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut then we\u2019ve also seen him in off nights, so that\u2019s kind of the only doubt, the only question that I have, which Teofimo is going to show up?\u201d<\/p>\n

He then revealed he believes the size advantage favours Lopez, but admits Stevenson could prove him wrong.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would think Teofimo being that technically he\u2019s a bigger fighter, bigger size, he\u2019s been at the weight class a little more and then just maybe built into it more, I would think he would have to use that size as an advantage, but it\u2019s hard to say because Shakur\u2019s f**king good at what he does.\u201d<\/p>\n
