Jennifer Lawrence is ready to return to Saturday Night Live.<\/p>\n
During her Tuesday appearance on Good Hang With Amy Poehler<\/a>, the Die My Love star reflected on her only time hosting the sketch comedy series in 2013<\/a> with the former SNL castmember. When asked what her memories of doing SNL were like by Amy Poehler, Lawrence replied \u201cskewed,\u201d noting that she\u2019d like a do-over because she was under pressure during her debut on the show.<\/p>\n More from The Hollywood Reporter<\/p>\n \u201cI have to go back and do it again because I had walking pneumonia. I was under a lot of pressure and doing a lot, and I was shooting one of the Hunger Games movies,\u201d she explained. \u201cI was shooting, I think the second one, while doing all of this campaign and I would have to like fly, go to a party, shake hands and then land and shook. Like, poor me! But I was very tired.\u201d<\/p>\n The Oscar winner hosted SNL on Jan. 19, 2013, the first episode of that year for the series\u2019 29th season, during a press tour for Silver Linings Playbook. She was joined by musical guest The Lumineers. Lawrence also had one additional cameo<\/a> on Nov. 15, 2014, alongside her Hunger Games co-stars while Woody Harrelson hosted.<\/p>\n \u201cI remember I was also at that bad age. I don\u2019t know if other people were like this at this age, but where you get asked, \u2018Can you do any impressions or anything?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018No.\u2019 I don\u2019t want to be like, \u2018And I can do this and I can do that!\u2019\u201d Lawrence added. \u201cI just kind of made everything like everybody else\u2019s problem. I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know how to do that. I can\u2019t do that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Season 51 of SNL is currently underway, with Bad Bunny<\/a>, Amy Poehler<\/a>, Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>, Miles Teller<\/a>, Nikki Glaser<\/a>, Glen Powell<\/a>, Melissa McCarthy<\/a>, Josh O\u2019Connor<\/a> and Finn Wolfhard<\/a> having all taken turns as host.\u00a0Golden Globe winner<\/a> Teyana Taylor and Alexander Skarsgard will also serve as hosts on Jan. 24 and 31, respectively.<\/p>\n Best of The Hollywood Reporter<\/p>\n Sign up for THR’s Newsletter<\/a>.
