My focus is on learning, continuing to improve, and doing everything I can to help our team succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A 21-year-old native of Raleigh, NC, La Sasso became the Rebs\u2019 second ever individual National Champion in 2025. He was set to compete in the 2026 edition of The Masters, but the move to LIV forfeits his eligibility to do so.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cHe\u2019s shown tremendous discipline, consistency, and poise under pressure, and we believe his transition to the professional game will be a natural one,\u201d HyFlyers general manager Peter Davis said in a statement. \u201cMichael values the team environment and recognizes he has an exceptional opportunity to learn and grow with Phil\u2019s mentorship, as well as Brendan and Cameron\u2019s experience and shared commitment to elevating the entire team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">La Sasso will make his debut on the tour with the season-opening event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia beginning on Feb. 4.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"LIV Golf announced the arrival of Michael La Sasso on Tuesday.
