Arizona Men’s Golf wins the Copper Cup after defeating No.21 UCLA, 7-5 in the championship match.<\/p>\n
The Wildcats opened the day with alternate-shot foursomes and earned three of the four available points. William Wistrand<\/a> and Matej Baca<\/a> delivered an early 1-up victory, while Zach Pollo<\/a> and Tianyi Xiong<\/a> followed with another 1-up win. Arizona picked up its most decisive foursome result from Taishi Moto<\/a> and Filip Jakubcik<\/a>, who closed out their match 5&4. The lone setback in foursomes came from the pairing of Dillon Dean<\/a> and Connor Hamm<\/a>, who fell 5&3.<\/p>\n Arizona carried that momentum into singles play, winning four of the eight matches to clinch the overall result.
