Some familiar, retired faces are set to face off in Winnipeg.

There will be an alumni game as part of the upcoming Heritage Classic, featuring former Winnipeg and Montreal players, the Jets announced on Tuesday.

The alumni game, which will be held Jan. 24 at Princess Auto Stadium (home of the Blue Bombers), will tee up the big game on the 25th between the Jets and Habs.

Longtime captain Blake Wheeler is set to captain the Jets’ team.

‘It’s good to spend the weekend with your former teammates,” said Wheeler. “That’s a no-brainer.”

Winnipeg native Mike Keane, who was on Montreal’s 1993 Stanley Cup-winning team, will captain the Canadiens alumni.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Keane. “I’m hoping for a 10-10 tie.”

Preliminary rosters were announced for both teams:

Blake Wheeler
Dustin Byfuglien
Andrew Ladd
Bryan Little
Mathieu Perreault
