Norris and team-mate Oscar Piastri won 14 of the 24 grands prix with McLaren\u2019s MCL39.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Motorsport readers have voted McLaren the top team of 2025, ahead of IndyCar benchmark Chip Ganassi Racing, MotoGP dominator Ducati, World Endurance Championship title winner Ferrari AF Corse, NASCAR frontrunner Hendrick Motorsports, Porsche\u2019s Formula E squad and the Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team.<\/p>\n<p>McLaren\u2019s victory was announced at the 38th <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autosportawards.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Autosport Awards;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Autosport Awards<\/a> at London\u2019s Roundhouse on 21 January.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you very much on behalf of the entire McLaren Formula 1 team. There is a key concept that Ross [Brawn] expressed earlier, the relationships within the team allowed the team to turn around the competitiveness in three years and produce the best car too, two years in a row,\u201d McLaren team principal Andrea Stella said.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you to the entire technical team, the 1000 strong team at the factory and everyone that supports us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Team of the Year is new for 2025 and is open to outstanding teams competing in motorsports and rewards fine teamwork, beyond an individual.<\/p>\n<p>Other categories decided by fan voting include Driver of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Moment of the Year presented by Bahrain International Circuit, Competition Car of the Year, Rally Driver of the Year and British Competition Driver of the Year.
