The Red Sox<\/a> were well-represented on MLB Network\u2019s Top 100 Players Right Now list. <\/p>\n

Boston boasted five players: Garrett Crochet<\/a> (No. 12) Roman Anthony<\/a> (41), Jarren Duran (58), Ranger Su\u00e1rez (79) and Aroldis Chapman (84).<\/p>\n

Crochet made a big jump on the list after being ranked 56th going into the 2025 season. The left-hander had a brilliant season \u2014 his first as Boston\u2019s ace<\/a> \u2014 with an 18-5 record, 2.59 ERA and a league-leading 255 strikeouts.<\/p>\n

Crochet was the American League Cy Young runner-up<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chapman<\/a> was also dominant for the Red Sox<\/a> as their closer. The hard-throwing left-hander amassed 32 saves with a 1.17 ERA and 85 strikeouts.<\/p>\n

Anthony<\/a> made his long-awaited MLB debut in June. The outfielder, who was MLB\u2019s top prospect, was limited to 71 games after a September oblique injury<\/a> ended his season early. He finished with eight home runs, 32 RBI and a .463 slugging percentage. <\/p>\n

Duran had a career-high 169 strikeouts, dealt with trade rumors at the deadline<\/a> but still made an impact for Boston with his speed. The outfielder stole 24 bags and had 84 RBI.<\/p>\n

Su\u00e1rez<\/a> joined the Red Sox as their first major league free agent<\/a> this offseason when he signed a five-year, $130 million earlier this month. He\u2019ll add some solid depth behind Crochet in the rotation. As a member of the Philadelphia Phillies in 2025, the left-hander compiled a 12-8 record with a 3.20 ERA and 151 strikeouts. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Red Sox were well-represented on MLB Network\u2019s Top 100 Players Right Now list.
