Further information can be found in the admin center under MO1221364,\u201d the company wrote on X, in response to the reports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">Microsoft said it had identified part of its service infrastructure in North America that \u201cis not processing traffic as expected,\u201d though it did not specify where.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">\u201cWe&#8217;re working to restore the infrastructure to a healthy state to achieve recovery,\u201d the company added.<\/p>\n<p>    <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==\" alt=\"Thousands of Microsoft users have reported problems with their Outlook 365 email systems. Just under 16,000 users were reporting problems as of 3.30 p.m. ET Thursday, according to tracking site DownDetector.com (Getty Images)      <\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">An update around 4 p.m. ET read: \u201cWe&#8217;re continuing to review what actions are required to restore the affected infrastructure to a heathy state and rebalance the service traffic to achieve recovery.\u201d At the same time, reports of issues dropped to around 13,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">One user wrote: \u201cEmail is the backbone of communication in corporate America, this is a very bad look.\u201d Another added: \u201cJust another day with Microsoft&#8230; Everything seems to be in the red on the admin and email delivery side.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">However, while some users were annoyed by the disruption, others didn\u2019t seem to mind so much.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">\u201cOh no. Outlook is down and I can\u2019t receive any emails at work,\u201d wrote one user, while another added: \u201cLooks like I get the day off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">\u201cIssues with outlook are preferred at 9 a.m,\u201d wrote a third.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">The Independent has contacted for Microsoft for further details around Thursday\u2019s outages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Thousands of Microsoft users have reported problems with their Outlook 365 email systems.
