The excitement for UFC\u2019s debut on Paramount+<\/a> this weekend with UFC 324<\/a> is growing, but there\u2019s nothing some unusual betting activity can\u2019t help diminish.<\/p>\n

On Friday, some UFC gamblers noticed some odd line shifts for Saturday\u2019s lightweight tilt between veterans Michael Johnson and Alexander Hernandez. Despite coming off three-straight wins inside of the Octagon, Johnson was a heavy betting underdog when odds first popped in late December. That has since changed as Johnson (-110) vs. Hernandez (-110) is currently an even odds affair.<\/p>\n

This means that big money has come in on Johnson. The concerning part about that is the fact that much of that action on \u201cMenace\u201d came in the past 24 hours. Johnson was coming in at +135 yesterday to Hernandez\u2019s -165, but the odds have completely changed since then heading into Saturday\u2019s UFC 324 matchup.<\/p>\n

As you may remember, UFC had an issue with this type of stuff late last year with Isaac Dulgarian\u2019s fight-fixing allegations<\/a>. The odds for that fight also flipped at the last second<\/a>, leaving fight fans with a sour taste in their mouths. Maybe that\u2019s why the betting community is on high alert coming into 2026.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re merely looking at odds changes right now without any real concrete evidence to suggest foul play, but what do you think about all of this?
