The most recent one came against young prospect Tallison Teixeira last July in Nashville, Tenn., as \u201cBlack Beast\u201d needed just 35 seconds to find the finish (watch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/2025\/7\/13\/24466378\/full-fight-video-highlights-ufc-nashville-results-espn-lewis-knockout-teixeira-trump-knockout-moon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">While Lewis\u2019 knockout was impressive in its own right it was his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/2025\/7\/13\/24466735\/video-derrick-lewis-spoke-to-president-donald-trump-after-his-ufc-nashville-but-it-was-classified\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">post-fight, in-cage phone call with Trump<\/a> that caught the most attention. Trump connected with UFC CEO Dana White on the phone, which was then passed along to Lewis inside the Octagon. The veteran fighter wasn\u2019t able to make out much of what Trump said and only talked for a few seconds, but it was still a really cool moment for those watching.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Unfortunately, Lewis missed another opportunity to talk to Trump after the event. President Trump attempted to call Lewis again for a longer conversation, but \u201cBlack Beast\u201d didn\u2019t recognize his phone number and Trump got screened.
