Savannah Guthrie shared a rare admission about feeling \u201clike a failure\u201d after her \u201chorrible\u201d 2009 divorce from her ex-husband, former BBC journalist Mark Orchard. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was in my 30s. I felt old, but I now see that I was pretty young, and I was sad about it,\u201d Guthrie, 54, recalled on the debut episode of Hoda Kotb\u2019s new YouTube series, \u201cJoy Rides,\u201d<\/a> Wednesday. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd I was also starting a new job at a place called NBC and trying really hard to make my way and make my little dream come true while other dreams were falling apart.\u201d<\/p>\n Savannah Guthrie shared she \u201cfelt like a failure\u201d after her 2009 divorce from former BBC journalist Mark Orchard. NBC<\/p>\n Guthrie went on to marry former political advisor Michael Feldman in 2014. They share two children: daughter Vale, 11, and son Charley, 9. Instagram\/ Savannah Guthrie<\/p>\n However, she clarified at the time, \u201cI\u2019m not blaming anyone but I don\u2019t really want to get into it.\u201d<\/p>\n Guthrie was married to Orchard \u2014 whom she met while covering the Michael Jackson trial \u2014 for four years. They tied the knot in 2005. The former couple share no children together.<\/p>\n
