Indiana Fever<\/a> star Sophie Cunningham dropped a one-word reaction via Instagram on Friday, as Trinity Rodman secured a major deal while making her decision public.<\/p>\n

Washington Spirit soccer star Rodman signed a record three-year, $2 million annual contract on Thursday.<\/p>\n

As the WNBA CBA negotiations with the league continues without an end in sight<\/a>, Rodman\u2019s latest deal with Adidas comes as a welcome surprise and Cunningham was all in for it.<\/p>\n

The Fever star reacted to the moment by reposting Adidas\u2019 celebratory post featuring Rodman on her Instagram story.<\/p>\n

Rodman\u2019s latest deal will make her the highest-paid Washington Spirit<\/a> star as well as female soccer player in the world. Now, she will remain with the club through 2028 after months of uncertainty over her future in the NWSL.<\/p>\n

Sophie Cunningham previously threw shade at WNBA over pay<\/p>\n

Cunningham threw a subtle jab at the WNBA\u2019s pay scale and then floated a bold take on a different career path. She made this comment during a guest appearance on a December 21 episode of \u201cSundae Conversation\u201d with Caleb Pressley.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot Plan A, Project B,\u201d she said<\/a>. \u201cI think you need the league cuz that\u2019s what gives you the platform to have all these fans. \u2026 Maybe Plan B should support that platform (OnlyFans).\u201d<\/p>\n

The WNBA and the players union, the WNBPA, are still negotiating a new CBA to replace the previous deal, which expired after multiple extensions. WNBPA President Nneka Ogwumike wants a fair deal that values players appropriately.<\/p>\n

However, the league and the players are yet to reach any agreement and have now officially entered a \u201cstatus quo\u201d period, with the current CBA still in effect.<\/p>\n

The players reportedly want roughly 30% of league gross revenue, while the league\u2019s offer has been closer to 70% of net revenue. As it stands, both parties remain far apart on revenue sharing and other major talking points.<\/p>\n
