The Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> have added to their pitching depth with a low-cost signing this week.<\/p>\n

The new free agent addition is Connor Seabold, according to Brendan Campbell<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Seabold has spent time in the organizations of the Philadelphia Phillies<\/a>, Boston Red Sox<\/a>, Colorado Rockies<\/a>, Tampa Bay Rays<\/a> and Atlanta Braves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He most recently pitched in the majors for Atlanta in 2025, putting up a 9.82 ERA in four appearances.<\/p>\n

He also pitched three games for the Rays in 2025 with a 1.35 ERA.<\/p>\n

He spent the 2024 season in the Korea Baseball Organization.<\/p>\n

Before that, he pitched for the Rockies in 2023, a 7.52 ERA in 27 outings.<\/p>\n

In 2021 and 2022, Seabold had major league time with the Red Sox, his first two MLB seasons — a 6.00 ERA in just one outing in 2021, then an 11.29 ERA in five outings in 2022.<\/p>\n

All told, Seabold has a career 7.79 ERA at the MLB level.<\/p>\n

In the minor leagues, he has a 4.16 ERA.<\/p>\n

That lone year in Korea yielded a 3.43 ERA for Seabold.<\/p>\n

He strikeouts out 7.3 batters per nine innings at the MLB level and walks 3.3 per nine.<\/p>\n

He’ll likely just be some minor league depth for the Blue Jays, but maybe he’ll get a few MLB innings here and there for Toronto.<\/p>\n
