Us

There won’t be morning skates today since the game starts at a time plausible if it were in Italy, not Toronto. There was no practice yesterday and while Dakota Joshua and William Nylander are skating, there is no timeline on the return for either, but it seems plausible Nylander will be back soon-ish, and Joshua will be sometime after the Olympic break.

Below is the lineup from last game, however:

Craig Berube says Jacob Quillan will slot in for Calle Jarnkrok today. With another centre option, it gives him an option to move Scott Laughton up the lineup. @BodogCA

The Game

This is game 52, not 82. There’s 30 more where this one came from, and there will be ups and downs. You can’t play at 110% all the time. In each game, in each moment of each game, all anyone can do is be who they are as best they can in that moment. That’s my super hot take on this team and this season. I make no predictions on this game or the standings.

Not The Game

Okay. Things are hard right now for many. People are angry upset, horrified, and feeling powerless, and it bubbles out of them in unexpected ways. Compassion is a radical act in this world, so be a radical as best you can.
