The green light was given to the developer in September by the Supreme Court of Canada for the construction of 1,500 homes.<\/p>\n<p>Development plans for the ClubLink-owned golf course have triggered plenty of controversy in recent years, particularly with regard to a 1981 agreement aimed to keep 40 per cent of the property as green space.
