With this victory, Svitolina extends her undefeated start to the season to 10-0 and secures her fourth career Grand Slam semifinal, her first since 2023.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

I\u2019m very pleased with the tournament so far. And of course always been my dream to come back after maternity leave. It was my dream to come back in top 10. The journey back to the elite tier of the sport was not without its setbacks, including a premature end to her 2025 season. \u201cUnfortunately didn\u2019t happen last year. I stopped after September. When we were training in the off season I told my coach \u2018I want to come back in top 10 still.\u2019 This was my goal for this year,\u201d Svitolina explained.<\/p>\n
