allegedly violating a horse <a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/news\/11638871\/suspect-identified-violating-horse-vernon-property\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">at a Vernon, B.C., equestrian centre<\/a> has been arrested.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/70c8fc80.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;width:1px;height:1px\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Vernon North Okanagan RCMP confirmed the man has been released from custody, pending further investigation.<\/p>\n<p>No charges have been laid at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Erica Van Meehan, the owner of Abigail Equestrian, says an intruder triggered her security cameras early on Saturday news, political, economic, and current affairs headlines, delivered to your inbox once a day.<\/p>\n<p>RCMP confirmed they were called, but said the suspect fled before officers arrived.<\/p>\n<p>Van Meehan told Global News that she reviewed the security footage with the responding police officers and the RCMP said the footage revealed a criminal offence had occurred within an enclosed animal pen on the property.<\/p>\n<p>Van Meehan said there is evidence to suggest that other horses at her centre may have also been assaulted.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\tTrending Now\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<a
