Toyota is teasing a mysterious new model.

Toyota released a teaser for a new vehicle, publishing a single image of the mystery model on its social media pages. It appears to be a larger SUV that could be one of the brand\u2019s upcoming three-row electric models\u2014but it’s still unclear.<\/p>\n

The image shows the rear silhouette of an SUV, which features a full-width taillight bar that appears to wrap around the sides. You can also see the roof rails and shark-fin antennas. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Toyota<\/a> provided no information about the teaser other than saying, “Something new is on the horizon.” It has a boxy appearance with wide fenders, giving off Land Cruiser<\/a> vibes. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Toyota has already confirmed<\/a> it has “plans to produce two all-new, three-row electric SUVs in the US.” The automaker will build both at its Kentucky facility. This could be one of those models.<\/p>\n

Motor1\u2019s Take: This is likely one of Toyota\u2019s new three-row electric SUVs. Toyota\u2019s lineup is already full of high-riding models, but it lacks an electric rival to the Kia EV9, as the brand has been slow to launch new battery-electric vehicles. EVs now face an uncertain future in America, but that\u2019s not stopping Toyota.\u00a0<\/p>\n
