\n\tAny heated rivalry was put to bed \u2014 between Connor Storrie and Fran\u00e7ois Arnaud at the Saint Laurent<\/a> show, that is. The actors, who costar in the Canadian hockey drama \u201cHeated Rivalry,\u201d attended the brand\u2019s show in Paris on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

\n\tTo say the series is an unexpected hit is an understatement. Did Storrie ever think it would become such a global phenomenon?<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDefinitely not. When I signed up for it, it was just a Canadian show, which I was very happy to do at the time,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it\u2019s just gotten better and better and better.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe noted that the show has yet to be released in France, yet there were throngs of fans chanting his name outside.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt feels good. Honestly, we\u2019ve been going so hard since this whole thing began, and so I haven\u2019t really had time to think about it too much,\u201d he said. Last week he took part in carrying the Olympic torch ahead of February\u2019s opening ceremony in Italy.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been a European adventure,\u201d he added. Storrie wore a look from the latest Saint Laurent<\/a> collection with a springy yellow accent, accessorized with Tiffany earrings.<\/p>\n

\n\tArnaud said he has been a fan of creative director Anthony Vaccarello\u2019s work for a long time. He pointed out the subtle patterns on his tie, trousers and shirt, then did a spin to show off his long black coat.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s like I\u2019m dressed to the nines, but I feel like I\u2019m dressed in a bathrobe,\u201d he said of the wrap-tie trench. \u201cIt feels so good to wear.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJamie Bell and Kate Mara arrived together and swapped pieces beforehand. \u201cI think this jacket is exactly that,\u201d she said of the Saint Laurent men\u2019s blazer belonging to her husband, which she slipped over her sheer black gown just after the photocall. \u201cI love that we can both wear it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSaint Laurent regular Keith Powers compared his look to Bruce Wayne. \u201cI feel like it\u2019s heroic in a way,\u201d he said of the outfit, topped with shades. Never one to rest, he added that he was keeping up his workout routine in Paris by running along the Seine.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe\u2019s gearing up for the March premiere of his latest film, \u201cThe Gates.\u201d The thriller follows a trio of friends trying to escape a neighborhood after witnessing a crime.<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite the commotion of jostling cameras, \u201cAnora\u201d star Mark Eydelshteyn was busy filming the panorama painting on the ceiling of the Bourse de Commerce, where the show was held.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe young star has had quite a year, from the film\u2019s premiere in Cannes to its Oscar wins \u2014 including Best Picture. He\u2019s trying to preserve it all for posterity.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEverything is disappearing very quickly, and my memories are also disappearing. This is a very important chapter of my life and I want to remember it,\u201d he said. Saint Laurent has been a big part of that journey, as has been working with Vaccarello.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTo be part of this energy of his creative process is important, and I want to remember it. I will show my kids \u2014 when I have kids, of course \u2014 I was in this place, with this atmosphere.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe said his double-breasted suit allowed him to play a new character, with a bit of an \u201cold-fashioned, retro vibe.\u201d<\/p>\n
