Fresh off winning his second straight World Series title (and his fourth overall), eight-time All-Star Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> standout Mookie Betts is going to further entrench himself into the L.A. sports universe with an appearance on the sidelines of the Clippers’ homecourt, Intuit Dome, in two weeks.<\/p>\n

Per the NBA’s All-Star Weekend X account<\/a>, the\u00a0seven-time Silver Slugger honoree and six-time Gold Glove winner will serve as a coach for the Ruffles Celebrity Game on Friday, Feb. 13.<\/p>\n

Among the freshly-announced participants are two big names from the music world, Grammy-winning producer Mustard and hip-hop star GloRilla, the league has announced<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tickets<\/a>\u00a0for the event are available now.<\/p>\n

So far, the All-Star Game’s 10 starters have been announced.\u00a0Two-time MVP Milwaukee Bucks power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, 2024 Finals MVP Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown, two-time All-NBA New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson, Detroit Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham, and Philadelphia 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey have been named to the Eastern Conference’s first five.<\/p>\n

Antetokounmpo, however, will miss at least the next four-to-six weeks with a calf strain, meaning he’ll have to be replaced in this starting unit.<\/p>\n

In the West, two-time MVP Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, three-time MVP Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, 2024 West Finals MVP Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic, reigning MVP Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama.<\/p>\n
