The North Shore Health Network announced on Sunday afternoon, that a nurse practitioner will be available at the Thessalon Hospital\u00a0from 3 to\u00a011\u00a0p.m. on Monday Jan.\u00a026.<\/p>\n

The North Shore Health Network (NSHN) is informing the community of an extended temporary closure of the emergency department at the following location due to physician shortages:<\/p>\n
THESSALON SITE:
\n\u2022 From 8 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, now reopening at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27.<\/p>\n
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 911.<\/p>\n
Ambulances will be rerouted to the following closest emergency departments to the Thessalon site:
\n\u2022 Blind River site \u2013 North Shore Health Network, 525 Causley St., Blind River, Ont.
\n\u2022 Richards Landing site \u2013 North Shore Health Network, 1180 Richards St., Richards Landing, Ont.
\n\u2022 Sault Area Hospital, 750 Great Northern Rd., Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.<\/p>\n
Access to services for non-emergent health advice or information is available by contacting Health811 by calling 811. Toll-free TTY line: 1-866-797-007.
