While Silva earned the unanimous decision by stealing the third round, Allen believes he did enough to take the first two frames.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought I did enough in the first,\u201d Allen explained. \u201cPeople said I got tired \u2014 I didn\u2019t feel tired. I thought I was up two rounds, but he made adjustments and got more aggressive. He came out in the third like he was down two rounds, chasing the finish. I tried to weather that. I started teeping him in the belly and he started screaming, so I knew they were working.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe commentary team, man, I don\u2019t know,\u201d Allen said. \u201cYou hear rumors about agendas, and then you watch it. Every time a shot lands on my elbow or arm, it\u2019s \u2018Oh my God!\u2019 But I land a clean left hand down the middle that staggers him and it\u2019s just, \u2018Nice shot by Allen.\u2019 Then they talk about his power. How do you not know how hard I hit?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIf Joe Rogan wants to spar with us before the fights, maybe they\u2019ll know how hard I hit,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Despite losing three of his last four bouts, Allen remains confident he belongs among the Featherweight elite and plans to stay active in 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not f\u2014king disheartened at all,\u201d Allen said. \u201cI know I\u2019m at the top. I lost to Movsar, Max \u2014 and this guy \u2014 and I sit there thinking I won two of them. That\u2019s the game. Close fights don\u2019t always go your way. I don\u2019t know who\u2019s next, but I feel good, and I want to be active.\u201d<\/p>\n
