The Portland Fire will be in the WNBA<\/a> once again in 2026.<\/p>\n

As such, with the team set to make its\u2019 return to the league for the first time since 2002<\/a>, the Fire have now also revealed the uniforms<\/a> they will be playing in during the upcoming season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One of the uniforms Portland will don is the WNBA Nike\u00a0Heroine\u00a0Edition. White is the main color of the Heroine Edition jersey and the team name of \u2018Fire\u2019 will be displayed across it to symbolize \u201cthe city\u2019s\u00a0passion for the team,\u201d as per a press release from fire.wnba.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another one of the Fire\u2019s debut season jerseys is the WNBA Nike Explorer Edition, which are the team\u2019s red base uniforms.<\/p>\n

Portland have also shared their team\u2019s PDX secondary\u00a0logos<\/a>. One of this logo\u2019s main features is that: \u201cThe\u00a0body of\u00a0the \u201cP\u201d and the \u201cD\u201d\u00a0is\u00a0inspired by the Willamette River that flows through the heart of the city.\u201d<\/p>\n

This particular feature of the PDX logo has also influenced the Heroine and Explorer edition uniforms, as the side tape of both jerseys also resemble the logo and flow of the Willamette River.<\/p>\n

A new era for Portland<\/p>\n

For Portland Fire\u00a0Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Kimberly Veale, the new uniforms have been designed with the hopes of representing their franchise\u2019s new era in the WNBA<\/a>. <\/p>\n
