Raycon founder Ray J Norwood said in series of social media posts that his heart is working at 25 percent capacity, it is turning black, and doctors told him he has months to live. \u201c2027 is a definitely a wrap for me,\u201d he said in an Instagram Live obtained by Variety<\/a>.<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/a> reported on January 7 that Norwood was hospitalized in Las Vegas, for severe pneumonia and heart pain. On Sunday, he gave an update on his health. \u201cI want to thank everybody for praying for me,\u201d he said. \u201cI was in a hospital. My heart\u2019s only beating like 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right.\u201d It\u2019s a more optimist outlook than he gave in a recent IG Live, when he said doctors gave him months left to live. \u201cI thought\u2026 I could handle all the alcohol, I could handle all the Adderall, I could handle all the drugs, but I couldn\u2019t,\u201d he said. He added that the right side of his heart is \u201cblack\u2026 it\u2019s like done.\u201d He also thanked his sister Brandy<\/a> for handling medical bills.<\/p>\n

Norwood\u2019s medical issues come just after some legal ones. In November<\/a>, he was arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at his ex-wife while livestreaming. He was charged with making criminal threats. Ray J is also in the middle of a lawsuit-counterlawsuit fight with ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner. Kardashian is suing for defamation<\/a>, pertaining to claims he made that they are under investigation for RICO. Norwood countersued<\/a>, claiming the Kardashian-Jenners breached a previous settlement over his and Kim\u2019s sex tape.<\/p>\n
