Ashley Tisdale and Haylie Duff\u2019s friendship is still going strong amid the \u201ctoxic\u201d mom group drama.<\/a><\/p>\n

The two pals were spotted together leaving an Italian restaurant in Malibu, Calif., with their families on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Both were dressed casually for their dinner date with their kids. Tisdale wore jeans, a loose jacket and loafers, putting her hair up in a bun. Duff also sported jeans, but styled her long hair down in waves.<\/p>\n

This is the second time the actress and the food blogger, both 40, have spent time together <\/a>since Tisdale\u2019s essay on leaving a \u201ctoxic\u201d mom group<\/a> published on the Cut went viral earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Fans quickly deduced that Tisdale\u2019s former mom group \u2014 whom she accused of \u201cmean girl\u201d behavior and excluding her \u2014 included Haylie\u2019s younger sister, Hilary Duff,<\/a> as well as Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor.<\/p>\n

While Hilary has yet to comment on the drama, her husband, Matthew Koma, did hit back at Tisdale publicly<\/a> via his Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n

The music producer posted a mock cover of himself on the cover of the Cut, with a headline reading, \u201cA mom group tell all through a father\u2019s eyes: When You\u2019re the Most Self-Obsessed Tone Deaf Person on Earth, Other Moms Tend to Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two have remained friends since Tisdale made waves with her essay for the Cut, claiming her former celeb mom group was \u201ctoxic.\u201d The group included Haylie\u2019s younger sister, Hilary Duff. RMBI \/ BACKGRID<\/p>\n

Last week, Hilary revealed details on her estrangement<\/a> from Haylie while singing her new song, \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk,\u201d during her show at London\u2019s O2 Shepherd\u2019s Bush Empire.<\/p>\n

The lyrics include, \u201cWe come from the same home, the same blood.\u201d<\/p>\n
