Liverpool have made contact with Inter to ask about Denzel Dumfries after an injury to Jeremie Frimpong created a need on the right flank.<\/p>\n

The rumour has emerged as the Premier League side assess their options.<\/p>\n

According to Gianluca Di Marzio<\/a>, the English club have requested information on the Dutch wing-back.<\/p>\n

However, Dumfries himself has been sidelined since December<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Liverpool are exploring the market for cover.<\/p>\n

Therefore they see Dumfries as a profile with the experience and physicality to fit their system.<\/p>\n

Any move would depend on several factors.<\/p>\n

Dumfries is still working his way back to full fitness, and Inter must decide whether they can afford to lose him midway through the season.<\/p>\n

The Nerazzurri have already been dealing with limited depth in wide areas.<\/p>\n

That situation explains why Inter have also looked into Brooke Norton-Cuffy<\/a>.<\/p>\n
