Casting announcements for The White Lotus\u00a0season 4 began in December 2025<\/p>\n

The fourth installment will star several notable names, including The Crown’s Helen Bonham Carter and Vikings’ Alexander Ludwig<\/p>\n

They’ll be joined by up-and-coming actors Caleb Jonte Edwards and Marissa Long<\/p>\n

The next wave of guests has officially checked into The White Lotus season 4<\/a> for a stay in France.<\/p>\n

Alexander Ludwig<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0AJ Michalka<\/a> were the first stars confirmed for season 4 in December 2025, per Variety<\/a>. Steve Coogan and Caleb Jonte Edwards joined the cast<\/a> the following month, along with Helena Bonham Carter<\/a> and\u00a0Chris Messina<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The upcoming season of the hit HBO<\/a> series, created by Mike White<\/a>, will take place at a luxury resort in France<\/a>, though plot details are still being kept tightly under wraps. As with previous installments, season 4 will follow a fresh group of wealthy vacationers whose stay at a White Lotus property is anything but relaxing.<\/p>\n

The anthology series has previously filmed at real Four Seasons resorts<\/a>, beginning in Hawaii for season 1, moving to Italy for season 2 and Thailand for season 3.<\/p>\n

The actress has earned two Academy Award<\/a> nominations for her performances in The King\u2019s Speech and The Wings of the Dove. She\u2019s also a nine-time Golden Globe<\/a> nominee, including recognition for Sweeney Todd and for her work across two seasons of The Crown<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Her film r\u00e9sum\u00e9 also includes standout roles in Fight Club and the Harry Potter<\/a> film franchise.<\/p>\n

Coogan is best known for his long-running portrayal of the fictional broadcaster Alan Partridge, most recently reprising the role in 2025\u2019s How Are You? It\u2019s Alan. On the big screen, his credits include the Night at the Museum<\/a> films, the Despicable Me<\/a> movies, Philomena and Tropic Thunder.<\/p>\n

In addition to starring in Philomena, Coogan co-wrote the film, receiving Oscar nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture.<\/p>\n

The White Lotus season 4 will mark model Marissa Long’s TV debut.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m unbelievably honored to be joining this with such incredible people. Thank you Mike White!!!!!!!!!! I\u2019m speechless and cannot wait for this journey, feeling deeply blessed.. LETS GO!!!!” she wrote on Instagram<\/a> following her casting announcement.<\/p>\n

To date, Long’s only acting credits include short films, including Valley Mentality! and The Old Breed. She’s also in a relationship with The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Tanner Zagarino, who plays Redbird<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actor is best known for playing Bj\u00f6rn Ironside on Vikings, as well as Dorn in two of the Bad Boys films and Cato in The Hunger Games<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Messina is best known for his work on high-profile TV series, including The Sinner, Sharp Objects and The Mindy Project<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His film credits also include roles in Ben Affleck<\/a>\u2019s Air and the Oscar-winning Argo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Michalka, a former Disney star<\/a>, is hitting the small screen once again with a role in season 4 of The White Lotus.<\/p>\n

Following her casting announcement in December 2025, Michalka posted on Instagram<\/a>, writing, “Checking in! Let\u2019s party Mike [White].”<\/p>\n

Michalka is best known as one-half of the pop duo Aly & AJ<\/a>, which she formed with her sister, Aly Michalka<\/a>. The pair also starred together in the 2006 Disney Channel movie Cow Belles.<\/p>\n

Her film credits include The Lovely Bones and Super 8, while on television, she had a recurring role on The Goldbergs and later led its spinoff, Schooled.<\/p>\n
