He played primarily first base in 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 28-year-old spent last season with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/san-diego-padres\/249\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/san-diego-padres\/249\" target=\"_blank\">San Diego Padres<\/a>, slashing .292\/.327\/.392 with eight home runs and 61 RBI in 154 games played. He also led the National League in hits with 181.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A three-time All-Star, Arraez is a lifetime .317 hitter known for his ability to put the ball in play to all fields.
