Forward Jacob Quillan was <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/LeafsPR\/status\/2017721526452146203?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">assigned<\/a> to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL in a corresponding move.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the injury, Nylander continues to lead the Maple Leafs in scoring, with 48 points (17 goals, 31 assists) in just 37 games.<\/p>\n<p>The Maple Leafs, losers of six straight, sit at the bottom of the Atlantic Division with a 24-21-9 record, while the Canucks sit last in the NHL at 18-31-5.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The\u00a0Toronto Maple Leafs\u00a0will get some reinforcements back for an all-Canadian showdown on Saturday.
