OTTAWA \u2014 In his first game in 35 days, Linus Ullmark<\/a> made 26 saves to lead the Ottawa Senators<\/a> to a 4-1 win over the New Jersey Devils<\/a> on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Ullmark was making his first start since taking personal leave on Dec. 28.<\/p>\n

Brady Tkachuk<\/a>, Dylan Cozens<\/a>, Tim Stutzle and Shane Pinto<\/a> each scored. The Senators (26-21-7) are riding a three-game winning streak with three games remaining before the Olympic break. Tkachuk also had two assists.<\/p>\n

Timo Meier<\/a> scored the lone goal for the Devils (28-25-2), while Jake Allen<\/a> stopped 30 shots.<\/p>\n

Tied 1-1 Cozens gave the Senators \u2014 playing their final home game before the break \u2014 the lead scoring a power-play goal 37 seconds into the third period.<\/p>\n

New Jersey believed it had tied the game with a Connor Brown<\/a> power-play goal with 3:58 remaining, but after a review the goal was disallowed due to a hand pass.<\/p>\n

Less than two minutes later Stutzle scored to provide the insurance marker and Pinto added an empty-net goal.<\/p>\n

The game remained tied 1-1 after 40 minutes.<\/p>\n

Ullmark stopped Nico Hischier<\/a> from in close and made a big glove save on Dougie Hamilton<\/a>, while Allen was equal to the task stopping Stutzle and Fabian Zetterlund<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ullmark was tested early in the game and made a couple saves on Brown and Cody Glass<\/a> to settle in.<\/p>\n

Ottawa opened the scoring on the power play. Down low Drake Batherson<\/a> spotted Tkachuk in the faceoff circle and the captain wristed a shot under Allen\u2019s left pad for his 14th of the season.<\/p>\n

The Devils tied the game late in the period when Glass won a battle for the puck and backhanded a pass from behind the net to Meier who one-timed it past Ullmark.<\/p>\n

Ottawa\u2019s Thomas Chabot<\/a> left the game in the third period and did not return for precautionary reasons. The Devils were without Jack Hughes<\/a>, who is out day-to-day with a lower-body injury.<\/p>\n
