\n\t\u201cWell, look what T.J. Maxx dragged in\u2026\u201d says Stanley Tucci\u2019s sharp-tongued art director Nigel as Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway<\/a>) makes her triumphant return to Runway mag. The only problem \u2014 Meryl Streep<\/a>\u2018s Miranda Priestly doesn\u2019t even remember her. She\u2019s \u201cone of the Emilys,\u201d Nigel helpfully prompts in the first trailer for The Devil Wears Prada<\/a> 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first full trailer of the\u00a020th Century Studios<\/a> sequel, set to the opening notes of Madonna\u2019s infectious (and on-the-nose) \u201cVogue,\u201d comes after an initial teaser<\/a> was released in November of last year. That first look didn\u2019t give much away in terms of plot, though it teased the much-anticipated reunion between stars Hathaway and Streep. In this new glimpse, it\u2019s revealed Andy is returning to the Vogue-esque glossy as its features editor.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier today, the studio previewed the trailer with a 30-second spot that featured an exchange between Hathaway\u2019s Andy and her work frenemy (Emily Blunt<\/a>). In a shady repartee, the latter observed, \u201cYou\u2019ve changed. You\u2019re much more confident. You kept those eyebrows, though, didn\u2019t you?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe beloved original, based on Lauren Weisberger\u2019s 2003 novel of the same name and released in 2006, follows recent journalism grad Andy, who lands a strenuous job \u2014 which, notably, a million girls would kill for \u2014 as a junior assistant to the infamous Miranda Priestly, editor-in-chief of a high-fashion magazine.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Devil Wears Prada 2<\/a> will\u00a0hit theaters May 1<\/a>. Tucci, Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman reprise their roles, and are joined by newcomers Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Rachel Bloom, Patrick Brammall and Lady Gaga.<\/p>\n

\n\tDirector David Frankel and scribe Aline Brosh McKenna returned to their roles, with Wendy Finerman and Karen Rosenfelt producing the followup, which\u00a0is expected to trace Miranda\u2019s perspective<\/a>\u00a0as she battles the decline of the print industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u201cWell, look what T.J.
