Grammys<\/a> host Trevor Noah<\/a> on Sunday clowned President Donald Trump<\/a> over his newfound fan, rapper Nicki Minaj<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During his opening monologue, the former \u201cDaily Show\u201d host made his way through the crowd to remark on the many famous faces. Then, he pointed out that Minaj, who has gone full MAGA<\/a> in recent months despite her history<\/a> of criticizing Trump, wasn\u2019t in attendance. (The rapper did not receive a nomination at this year\u2019s ceremony.)<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s still at the White House with Donald Trump<\/a> discussing very important issues,\u201d said Noah before launching into his impression of the president.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Actually, Nicki, I have the biggest ass! I have it \u2014 everybody\u2019s saying it, Nicki, I know they say it to you, but it\u2019s me! Wap, wap, wap! Look at it! Look at it, baby!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Noah\u2019s comment about Minaj\u2019s absence drew cheers from the audience. His swipes at Trump \u2014 who embraced and held hands with<\/a> the \u201cAnaconda<\/a>\u201d rapper last week \u2014 sparked laughter from the likes of John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Hudson and Jeff Goldblum.<\/p>\n

Minaj later seemingly responded to Noah on X, baselessly accusing<\/a> the comedian of refusing to \u201ccome out the closet\u201d in part of a bonkers social media rant.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in his monologue, Noah mentioned that Lauryn Hill \u2014 who is set to perform at Sunday\u2019s ceremony \u2014 last performed at the award show in 1999, and used that as a setup for a dig at the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou understand how long ago that was?
