{"id":449792,"date":"2026-02-02T20:38:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T20:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/449792\/"},"modified":"2026-02-02T20:38:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T20:38:08","slug":"draymond-green-fires-back-at-dillon-brooks-after-viral-podcast-comment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/449792\/","title":{"rendered":"Draymond Green Fires Back at Dillon Brooks After Viral Podcast Comment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"inline-text-0\" class=\"mt-[18px] md:mt-0 mb-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6e\">PHOENIX \u2014 Two of the NBA&#8217;s most notorious personas are officially engaged in a back-and-forth. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-1\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6h\">Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green have long been in headlines around the league for their provoking personalities on the court and their willingness to be vocal in front of microphones. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-2\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6k\">If there&#8217;s ever two players who have adopted the NBA&#8217;s modern villain role, it&#8217;d be Brooks and Green. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-3\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6n\">Brooks, recently appearing on a stream with the popular N3on, threw some shade at guys such as Green and Paul George for doing podcasts. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-4\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6q\">\u201cI be getting on dudes that want to do the podcast during while they\u2019re playing,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/nba\/dillon-brooks-draymond-green-paul-george-podcasts.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brooks said.<\/a> \u201cThey\u2019re all terrible. [Draymond] talks too much for me. He was speaking on me and Paul George doing podcasts, he said they&#8217;re not good at basketball, so focus on hoops. I don&#8217;t feel the need to get into a back and forth,&#8221; Green said.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-9\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7d\">And in typical Draymond fashion, he didn&#8217;t leave it there. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-10\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7g\">&#8220;If I was Dillon Brooks I wouldn&#8217;t have too much love for this podcast either being he was annihilated on this podcast &#8230; So I get it, I completely get it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-11\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7j\">Green went on to suggest Brooks might be trying to start streaming himself after going on multiple large streaming platforms. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-12\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7m\">\u201cWhat made guys really comfortable with having these podcasts was because I was an All-Star and a world champion, NBA champion in the same year.
