Home and Away<\/a> spoilers follow for UK viewers.<\/p>\n

UK viewers of Home and Away<\/a> will finally be getting their first look at a new character, with Kerrie Matheson due to arrive in Summer Bay next week. The character, who is portrayed by Sara Wiseman, is the mother of Harper and Dana.<\/p>\n

In scenes set to air from Wednesday to Friday (11 to 13 February)<\/a>, Tane and Harper will continue to disagree over the living arrangements of their son<\/a>, Archie. Harper wants full custody, and will only grant Tane a visit every second weekend. <\/p>\n

Full of anger, Tane ignores Mali’s pleas and attempts to find Harper, and he promptly heads to Dana to get information. She agrees that her sister has gone too far with the custody arrangement, but insists that she won’t tell Tane where Harper and Archie are. <\/p>\n

Dana later speaks to Harper, and explains that Tane loves Archie just as much as she does. Despite acknowledging that his anger wasn’t the best course of action, she said it was merely a consequence of an unfair custody arrangement. <\/p>\n

Dana subsequently invites Harper and Archie to live with her and Sonny, reasoning that they can’t stay in a motel any longer. Harper and Tane also thaw out their issues, and agree to an equal custody arrangement for Archie.<\/p>\n

With things looking up, Harper gets a shock as her mother, Kerrie, knocks on the door at the motel. Kerrie asks to see her grandson, but Harper doesn’t think the time is right yet. She also confirms that Dana has no interest in seeing Kerrie due to their history. <\/p>\n

Kerrie maintains that she wants to reconnect with her family following years of addiction trouble, but Harper insists that they don’t get ahead of themselves. Though she wants to forgive her mother, she refuses to promise anything.<\/p>\n

Harper pops into town and urges Kerrie to stay in the motel room, though she ignores this request. Harper doesn’t tell Dana that their mother is back in town – but it doesn’t matter either way, as Dana later locks eyes with Kerrie. <\/p>\n

Tane also discovers this fact, and heads to Harper to tell her that he isn’t best pleased by Kerrie’s arrival. She says that it wasn’t planned, and also chastises her mother for not staying in the motel room as instructed. <\/p>\n

Kerrie twigs that Tane is the reason why she won’t be allowed to visit Archie, and begs her family to reconsider. Harper gives in, and Tane is later told by Dana that Kerrie will be meeting his son.<\/p>\n

This leads to him making a dramatic move, as he disappears with Archie. Dana remains tight-lipped, but Harper and Kerrie band together as they agree that Tane has taken things a step too far. Could legal action be on the way?<\/p>\n

Home and Away drops new episodes on weekdays at 6am on 5\u2019s streaming service<\/a> with a 6.30pm screening on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video<\/a> in the UK.<\/p>\n
