So that\u2019s definitely made us have some different thoughts about it.<\/p>\n \u2018Didn\u2019t sign up to play for 72\u2019 holes<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve got a contract for this year and we\u2019ll go through it there and see what happens after that. Look, it\u2019s 72 holes, it\u2019s changed, but we\u2019re still excited to play professionally and play for what we\u2019re doing and go across the world. We didn\u2019t sign up to play for 72 (holes).\u201d<\/p>\n Dechambeau was one of the sport\u2019s biggest stars to back the jump to LIV in 2022, being lured by the promise of a huge payday and less of a workload.<\/p>\n RECOMMENDED VIDEO We apologize, but this video has failed to load.<\/p>\n Play VideoWill Dechambeau return to PGA Tour?<\/p>\n However, Brooks Koepka became the first of LIV\u2019s biggest stars to make their way back to the PGA Tour<\/a> through a new Returning Members Program \u2013 which has several financial penalties attached to it.<\/p>\n The five-time major champion announced his return to the PGA Tour in January after parting ways with the Saudi-backed golf circuit<\/a>. Koepka spent four seasons playing for LIV Golf, ultimately ending his contract one year early.<\/p>\n As part of the terms agreed to, Koepka was able to return to play almost immediately \u2014 he competed at the Farmers Insurance Open<\/a> this past weekend, finishing in a tie for 54th place.<\/p>\n Advertisement 4<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n However, there are \u201cstrict limitations\u201d he must deal with.
