Heavyweight Jarrell Miller had his hairpiece unceremoniously lifted off his head during the second round of his bout against Kingsley Ibeh on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n

Miller, nicknamed \u201cBig Baby,\u201d took a right uppercut to the face during a clinch with Ibeh, The Athletic<\/a> reported. That loosened the hairpiece, which flapped up from his scalp to reveal a large bald spot.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s losing his hair,\u201d boxing commentator Todd Grisham yelled<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before the third round began, Miller ripped the toupee completely off his head and tossed it into the crowd<\/a>. It was recovered by WBO heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley<\/a>, ESPN reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cSafekeeping,\u201d Wardley tweeted<\/a>, showing a video of the toupee reposing in a chair.<\/p>\n

Miller may have lost the expected meme battle on the internet, but he did win the war in the ring, prevailing in a split decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy a hair,\u201d Grisham said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Miller, who improved to 27-1, chuckled in his postmatch interview<\/a>, noting that he had lost his hair after using a bottle of shampoo at his mother\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so funny, right. I get to my mama\u2019s house, and she had some shampoo bottles under her table. I shampooed it, and the (expletive) was like ammonia bleach,\u201d said the native of Brooklyn, New York. \u201cI literally lost my hair like two days ago. So I called my manager, said \u2018Get me one of those man wigs. I\u2019mma slap that (expletive) on real quick!\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cIbeh knocked that (expletive) off.\u201d<\/p>\n
