EDMONTON \u2014 Matias Maccelli<\/a> scored twice and the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> downed the Edmonton Oilers<\/a> 5-2 on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Matthew Knies<\/a> contributed a goal and an assist for Toronto (27-21-9), while John Tavares<\/a> recorded his 20th of the season and Bobby McMann<\/a> added an empty-net strike.<\/p>\n

Anthony Stolarz<\/a> stopped 34 of the 36 shots he faced in the Leafs\u2019 net, including a diving stop on Leon Draisaitl<\/a> that prevent the home side from getting back into the game in the final minutes of the third period. <\/p>\n

The Oilers (28-20-9) got goals from Jake Walman<\/a> and Kasperi Kapanen<\/a>, while Connor Ingram<\/a> made 22 saves. <\/p>\n
