Watch face platform Facer has announced the winners of its first-ever \u2018Facer Awards\u2019, celebrating the most influential smartwatch<\/a> face designs across the Apple Watch<\/a> and Wear OS<\/a> ecosystems. <\/p>\n

The awards come during a period of technical transition for the industry, as designers and developers adapted to the new Watch Face Format (WFF) requirements in Wear OS 6<\/a> and to the ongoing constraints of Apple\u2019s official complications. <\/p>\n

To determine the winners, Facer analyzed sync data across its platform to identify the faces and creators that defined user wrists in 2025.<\/p>\n

The top honors for \u2018Best Designer\u2019 were awarded to \u2018MikeOB\u2019 for Wear OS and to \u2018BA and Bruno Amadori\u2019 for Apple Watch, both recognized for consistent quality and high user engagement. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the best overall watch faces\u2014shown above\u2014went to \u2018Pluto WFF\u2019 by Almarinov for Wear OS and \u2018FM + Grey\u2019 by FM Semper Fi for the Apple Watch.<\/p>\n

The community also voted for the \u2018People\u2019s Choice\u2019 winners\u2014shown below\u2014which saw \u2018OMG 91 \u2014 Upgrade\u2019 take the title for Wear OS and \u2018Titan10 AW\u2019 by Generator Studios win for Apple Watch. <\/p>\n

These winners reflect a broader trend in the community toward high-density, data-rich designs that prioritize at-a-glance information while remaining technically optimized for battery efficiency.<\/p>\n

Beyond individual designers, the awards recognized technical and creative innovation across several niche categories. <\/p>\n

The \u2018Fallout Pip-Boy SE\u2019 was named \u2018Best Licensed Watch Face\u2019 for Wear OS, while the \u2018Magic 8 Ball\u2019 took the equivalent prize for Apple Watch. <\/p>\n
