\n Catherine, Princess of Wales<\/a> has spoken of her experience with cancer, in a deeply personal video message released Wednesday to mark World Cancer Day.\n <\/p>\n \n Kate, 44, who is now in remission after she was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, tells those affected by the disease: \u201cPlease know you are not alone.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n She says that a cancer journey is not a linear experience and that \u201cthere are moments of fear and exhaustion\u201d but also \u201cmoments of strength, kindness and profound connection.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n In the message posted on social media<\/a>, she can be heard in the voiceover for the video saying that the disease \u201ctouches so many lives\u201d and her \u201cthoughts are with everyone who\u2019s facing a cancer diagnosis, undergoing treatment or finding their way through recovery.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n Kate continues that World Cancer Day \u201cis a reminder of the importance of care, understanding and hope.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n The video accompanying the princess\u2019s narration is from a visit last year to the London hospital<\/a> where she was treated. When she returned to The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Chelsea in early 2025 she met medical teams and spoke to patients.\n <\/p>\n \n Catherine\u2019s message came a day after King Charles\u2019 shared his own<\/a> for World Cancer Day, in which he also spoke of his cancer journey and being \u201cprofoundly moved\u201d by \u201cthe community of care that surrounds every cancer patient.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n He praised the specialists, nurses, researchers and volunteers \u201cwho work tirelessly to save and improve lives.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
