Roman Reigns didn\u2019t hold back during his Pat McAfee Show interview ahead of the 2026 Royal Rumble, and now wrestling insiders believe his pointed comments about WWE\u2019s creative direction were more than just frustration\u2014they were a calculated move from within The Rock\u2019s inner circle.<\/p>\n

During the interview, Reigns made it clear that while WWE is thriving on the business side, creative has been lagging behind<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have great leadership in Nick Khan\u2026 but we have to be able to keep up with that creatively. I got the formula. I know how to cook it up.\u201d<\/p>\n

On The Coach & Bro Show<\/a>, Jonathan Coachman immediately called it what it looked like:<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a direct shot at creative\u2026 and Triple H is creative.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vince Russo took it even further, connecting Reigns\u2019 statement to a broader shift in WWE\u2019s internal power structure. Russo claimed this wasn\u2019t just a Roman Reigns promo\u2014this was the Rock\u2019s camp sending a clear signal. Russo believes this \u201cstatement\u201d will have long-term consequences and even made a bold prediction:<\/p>\n

\u201cRoman Reigns is an extension of The Rock,\u201d Russo said. \u201cLet\u2019s piggyback that with this: The Rock\u2019s daughter quitting the company. And let\u2019s piggyback that with this: her girlfriend was released the week before. That\u2019s the other side making a statement.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna go out on a limb and say this\u2014January 1st, 2027, Triple H will not be in the same role he\u2019s currently in. I\u2019m 1000% convinced of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The post-Rumble press conference only poured gasoline on the fire, with live fan chants of \u201cWe want Vince\u201d reportedly shaking Triple H on stage.<\/p>\n
