\n\tFinneas<\/a> took to Instagram Threads on Wednesday to defend his superstar sister and songwriting partner, Billie Eilish<\/a>, from \u201cvery powerful old white men\u201d who are \u201coutraged\u201d about her Grammys acceptance speech.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSeeing a lot of very powerful old white men outraged about what my 24-year-old sister said during her acceptance speech,\u201d he wrote. \u201cWe can literally see your names in the Epstein files.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter her track \u201cWildflower\u201d won song of the year at the 2026 Grammys, Eilish declared \u201cfuck ICE\u201d<\/a> in her acceptance speech. Finneas joined Eilish on stage while she accepted the award.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI feel so honored every time I get to be in this room,\u201d she said. \u201cAs grateful as I feel, I honestly don\u2019t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land. And, yeah, it\u2019s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter, and fuck ICE. That\u2019s all I\u2019m going to say. Sorry. Thank you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEilish was among the many artists<\/a> to use their Grammys platform to promote social and political reform. The most commanding example was Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny, who said \u201cICE out\u201d to resounding applause<\/a> after winning best m\u00fasica urbana album with \u201cDeB\u00cd TiRAR M\u00e1S FOToS.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBefore I say thanks to God, I\u2019m going to say ICE out,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re not savage, we\u2019re not animals, we\u2019re not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans. Also, I will say to people, I know it\u2019s tough to know not to hate on these days and I was thinking sometimes, we get contaminados [contaminated], I don\u2019t know how to say that in English. The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don\u2019t hate them. We love our people. We love our family, and that\u2019s the way to do it. With love. Don\u2019t forget that please.
